Ash Ferry

Every once in a while, while surfing online for new music, I stumble on an artist who makes me stop and really listen. One such jewel is Ash Ferry. Her song NO Fault, is one of most honest and sincere songs I heard in a long time and she is destine to be loved by millions someday. I chatted with Ash after so many attempts to meet the western and eastern time zones....

Mb: Hi Ash.
Ash: Hiya! How have you been?
Mb: Too busy... you?
Ash: Oh, here and there. You're always sooo busy. I don't know how you handle it so well. Superman you are...
Mb: lol... So what about you Ash? What have you been up to?
Ash: Well. Lately I have been awoken by the tragics going on around me. So I'm trying to get involved in Good causes as much as my heart can handle. .. How are things for you lately?
Mb: Ash this is YOUR interview!!
Ash: GULP! ohmagads. My face just went totally white, blood rushes to entire head. ...OK I'm going to regain composure and be good. eheheh.
Mb: lol
Ash: (brat) hehe... laughing.. You are too funny! You got me good here.
Mb: So has the bad stuff around you inspired you to write new songs?
Ash: Yes, in a joyful - heartwrenching way. I've been a bit blind to things going on. The Dixie and Connor situations have hit me like boulder right where I needed it.
Mb: What has changed for you?
Ash: So much on a personal effect level. I'm a huge crybaby. So it "seemed" easier to circle around issues. Come to find out, it's easier to deal with them rather than the weight of my feelings all to myself. So, my life is changed.
Mb: How are you going to deal with things now?
Ash: Right now, learning a lot from Dixie. Her world. As much as I know of it. The daily pain. I can try to feel that now. Which helps me grow as a loving person. Discovering there's so much more to me than a few notes on a keyboard anymore.
Mb: What inspires you to write?
Ash: That's a toughie. Usually the inspiration comes from a third party thoughts, which really is reflecting me in most cases I'm finding out. (I love denying that though) but heck, I'm coming out. No more hiding.
Mb: Have you been afraid to let people see you?
Ash: Oh yea! If you are meaning images on the Internet. Definitely. In person, you can't get rid of me. (Revealing myself in songwriting I'm still working on). That might take awhile to write something directly about me and admit it. hehe
Mb: How come? Why is writing about yourself hard?
Ash: Fear mostly. And they say the only way to conquer fear is by facing it. Gosh. That was too deep. heeh. oops!
Mb: When people visit your page what would you like them to think?
Ash: Thinking... hmm.. You know what? I don't think I can even answer that one Mb. Isn't that awful? hahaah. I'm learning and trying to find my way. So I don't know.
Mb: What do you think they think of you?
Ash: I would hope those who have gotten a glimpse of me, know that I'm a pretty good person, with a lot of evil paths that I stray off to for moments in time. hehehe. I have a lot to offer. And it's tough for me to find those to accept the offerings. I might scare them. I'm not real sure yet.
